704 No More™ Committee Structure
-
Steering Committee
Serve as the central leadership body providing strategic direction, ensuring alignment across all committees, and maintaining the integrity and momentum of the 704 No More™ initiative. The Steering Committee plays a critical role in sustaining focus, ensuring consistent messaging, and empowering all parts of the 704 No More™ movement to work together strategically and effectively.
-
Litigation Committee
Design and implement the initiative’s litigation strategy to challenge Section 704 and other FCC preemptive actions and restore local and state authority over wireless infrastructure siting.
-
Fundraising Committee
Secure the financial resources necessary to sustain the initiative for three years and beyond. This committee will focus on both conventional and creative fundraising strategies, including donor identification and outreach, online campaigns, grant writing, and collaborative efforts with coalition members, with an emphasis on attracting health-conscious and environmental philanthropists, family offices, donors to community foundations and younger funders aligned with our mission.
-
Grassroots Mobilization & Legislative Advocacy Committee
Mobilize federal, state, and local support and work directly with legislators and public officials to advance favorable laws. This committee will also coordinate public-facing efforts to raise visibility for 704 No More™, including outreach in public spaces, state-level collaboration with EMF and environmental groups, and creative grassroots actions that generate both community engagement and media content.
-
Communications Committee
Provide public education about the risks of wireless technology and the solutions communities can pursue, while ensuring all 704 No More™ messaging is clear, compelling, and consistent. This committee will lead communications strategy, media relations, and targeted outreach in collaboration with CHD’s Marketing and Media professionals. A Media Relations Subcommittee will focus on outreach to journalists, health-focused media, public radio, podcasts, and local press to expand visibility and public engagement.
